London Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger revealed the team's season priorities.
"There are five trophies. Of course, the most important is the Premier League gold, then the Champions League. In terms of importance, we must advance to the next stage of the Champions League, and the success in the FA and League Cup matches concerns me the least," said the Frenchman.
"I say this because you can't just let the best players out in the League Cup match. Of course, we didn't play impressively against Schalke from Gelsenkirchen (lost 0-2 - ed.), but it's my duty to remind you that we suffered our first home defeat in the last 43 Champions League matches."
"I am optimistic and believe in my team. I think the players will prove me right," reassured A. Wenger.
