"Kaunas Ultras" have no doubt that the match between F.B.K. "Kaunas" and VMFD "Žalgiris" teams will be a true gift for every fan of "Kaunas".

The Saturday match against Vilnius City Football Club (VMFD) "Žalgiris" awaits not only football-thirsty residents of Kaunas or players of the football community club "Kaunas", but also the most loyal Yellow Greens - "Kaunas Ultras".

One of the members of "Kaunas Ultras", Gintautas, stated that these matches will be the truest gift for every fan of "Kaunas".

"Just before this season, we lived not knowing if we would have a team playing in any league at all. We fought the entire season in the III league, and the most serious opponent throughout the year was Kretingos "Minija", so the match against "Žalgiris" - is simply a big gift to loyal "Kaunas" fans," - said Gintautas.

According to him, although there is no special preparation for the visual support of the team, there is a great interest in the upcoming matches.

"There is a great interest and anticipation, so I hope that in these matches the Yellow Greens will be supported the most passionately throughout this season".

Also in the S. Darius and S. Girėnas Stadium, where the match will take place, "Kaunas Ultras" will be able to return to the C stand, which for many years was like a second home for the most loyal fans, but recently the chants of the Yellow Greens have been heard there for a long time.

"We are happy to return to the C stand, we have already missed it - it is like a second home to us," the boy said.

Asked about the VMFD "Žalgiris" fans - "Pietų IV", Gintautas said that he is expecting a more numerous arrival of Vilnius residents to the temporary capital.

"We have quite a lot of young people in our ranks who probably haven't seen ultras from the opposing stand. It would be an even greater incentive for them to support their team. The opponents also lacked support from the elderly fans this season," Gintautas concluded the conversation.

We will find out this Saturday, at 14:00, in the S. Darius and S. Girėnas Stadium (Perkūno al. 5), how many fans will come from Vilnius, what support "Kaunas Ultras" will provide, and how the intriguing clash between "Kaunas" and "Žalgiris" will end.
