On Saturday the 30th round of the Bundesliga started. As usual, seven matches were played. The leader "Bayern" club secured another victory, while "Schalke" experienced their third consecutive defeat, leaving no more intrigue in the Bundesliga.

The Munich team won 3-1 at home against "Bochum" club, almost securing the championship title. The goals for the winners were scored by C.Pizarro, M.Ballack and R.Makaay. With four rounds left until the end of the championship, "Bayern" club is already nine points ahead of their nearest rivals.

Meanwhile, the team that had been successful in the title race throughout most of the season ran out of steam towards the finish line. The Gelsenkirchen team suffered another defeat - this time "Schalke" lost 4-1 to Berlin's "Hertha" club. After this setback, their chances of winning the championship are merely theoretical.

With another defeat for "Schalke", the club in third place, "Stuttgart", failed to capitalize on it again. This time the "Stuttgart" players played 0-0 against "Wolfsburg". With four rounds left in the season, "Stuttgart" is one point behind the "Schalke" team.

Another loss came for the "Freiburg" team who lost 3-1 away to "Arminia" club. The hero of the home club was M.Porcello, scoring three goals and achieving a hat-trick. After the victory, "Arminia" jumped to eleventh place, while the "Freiburg" club occupies the last place and no longer has even theoretical chances to stay in the top league in Germany.

In another match, the "Borussia" players claimed important three points, defeating "Kaiserslautern" 4-2 at home. The fierce battle continued from the first minutes. After the first half, the teams took a break with the score tied at 2-2. In the second part of the match, J. Koller stood out - the Czech national team striker scored two goals and buried the opponents. After the victory, the Dortmund team reduced their gap from the seventh-placed "Bayer" players to one point.
