Yann M'Vila is banned from representing all age groups of the French national team until June 2014.
The 22-year-old footballer, who was sought after by clubs such as London's Tottenham and Arsenal this summer, received sanctions for spending the night partying without the knowledge of the coaches while representing the youth national team.
The defender has already worn the national team shirt 22 times, but due to this penalty, he will also be forced to miss the 2014 World Cup final.
Four other players received sanctions - Wissam Ben Yedder, Antoine Griezmann, Chris Mavinga, and M'baye Niang. They will not play for the national teams until the beginning of 2014.
