On Saturday evening, the last match of the 11th round took place. Birmingham's "Aston Villa" faced the league leaders "Manchester United" and after a fierce battle and a fantastic performance by Javier Hernandez (Chicharito), they were defeated by the opponents 2:3.
At the end of the first half, Andreas Weimann beautifully scored a goal against "Manchester United" and put "Aston Villa" in the lead.
The second half started disastrously for the Manchester club, as the same Andreas Weimann scored a double. In the 50th minute of the match, the league leader was in serious trouble.
However, Alex Ferguson made a crucial change - Chicharito appeared on the field instead of Ashley Young. And in the 58th minute, he helped his team reduce the score. Within 5 minutes, Chicharito was already aiming for a double, but after his shot hit "Aston Villa" defender Ron Vlaar and the goal was credited to him. However, the details didn't matter - "Manchester United" equalized the score in 13 minutes - 2:2.
At the end of the match, in the 87th minute, Chicharito once again proved why he was named the best player of the month for "Manchester United" - his third goal and the club's victory 3:2.
