Roberto Lewandowski's future at the Dortmund "Borussia" club is raising more and more doubts.
The contract of the Polish national team striker will expire in 2014, and negotiations for its extension are currently at a standstill. "We will sit down and talk about what to do if Robert does not agree to extend the contract," said "Borussia" executive director Aki Watzke.
It is believed that the "Man Utd" club may try to take advantage of this situation, as they were interested in the player valued at 20 million euros in the summer.
Although attention has shifted to the English team after adding another striker Robin van Persie, according to the press, Manchester team's manager Sir Alex Ferguson is closely monitoring Lewandowski's situation.
This season, the Pole has scored five goals in 10 matches in the German championship.
