The famous rapper Snoop Dogg expressed a desire to acquire shares of the Glasgow Celtic club.
The American living in Los Angeles was impressed by the Scottish team's victory against Barcelona in the Champions League, so he would like to actively engage in the management of the team and become a board member.
"I'm very interested in soccer," said 41-year-old Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus. "I didn't see all the games against Barcelona, just highlights, but the victory against such an opponent shows the level of Celtic."
He continued: "I also saw the fans who passionately supported the team, so if there are shareholders who want to sell, I would be willing to invest. How much? I haven't thought about it yet. I don't need to be the main owner, but I would like to be on the board. I would throw a party in the boardroom like no one has ever seen."
Snoop Dogg is connected to soccer - he is a qualified children's coach, leading his son's school team.
