London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger is not ruling out the possibility of Thierry Henry returning to the team for the third time.
The 35-year-old veteran has been training with the "Gunners" recently, as his season with the New York Red Bulls in the United States has ended.
Frenchman briefly returned to London last season, when he played four matches - in total, he wore the "Arsenal" jersey 377 times. It is possible that this could happen again, as forward Gervinho will be leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament after the new year.
"Will we sign a contract in January? I cannot rule out this possibility, but I don't know if Thierry would be interested. Obviously, Henry is still sharp in training," said Wenger.
"When Gervinho leaves, we will lack forwards, especially if we sell Marouane Chamakh. I don't plan to stop anyone, so we will need forwards."
And he added: "You know Henry - stepping onto the field he gives hope to everyone, which is incredibly important. Moreover, this footballer is excellent at communicating and is intellectual, so he can give advice."
