London's "Arsenal" head coach Arsene Wenger praised "Manchester United" manager Sir Alex Ferguson and said that the Scot deserves the greatest respect for his achievements with the "Red Devils" team.
Marking Ferguson's 26 years at the helm of "Man Utd," the club unveiled a sculpture in his honor at the "Old Trafford" stadium on Friday, attended by many well-known legends trained by the iconic coach.
"I can't remember anyone staying at the highest level for so long," Wenger said. "Partly it's scary, because when this man leaves the team, even if the best coach comes in, there might be a huge gap."
"The club could be destabilized because everything revolves around Ferguson. For the team not to suffer, this man must remain immortal. You will never see a decrease in his dedication."
"What impresses me the most is his vision for the future. Ferguson always moves with the times and never talks about what he has achieved. He knows when to rejuvenate the team, when to make changes, and that is an exceptional thing because after so much glory, one can sometimes become lazy."
"He has never been like that, he is always ready to renew what is needed. In this job, you have to sacrifice your life for football, which Ferguson did and he deserves the greatest respect for it.
"He won everything he could and that is extraordinary."
