London's Queens Park Rangers didn't need much time to find a new strategist - the former Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp will take over the team.

The capital's team fired Mark Hughes on Friday morning, but the team's management didn't have to look for replacements for long, as Redknapp agreed without hesitation to take on the head coach duties.

Earlier this week, the Englishman admitted that he had received an offer from the Ukrainian Football Federation to train the national team, but he turned down that opportunity.

The new head coach of the London team watched the match between Manchester United and QPR from the stands of Old Trafford stadium.

Throughout his coaching career, Redknapp has coached clubs such as Bournemouth, West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Tottenham.

The Englishman will sign a two and a half year contract with the Premier League's bottom team.
