London's "Chelsea" captain John Terry praised recently fired coach Roberto Di Matteo for the decision made by the "blues" leadership.
The Italian lost his job at "Chelsea" after a defeat in the UEFA Champions League match against Turin's "Juventus", but J. Terry does not blame this coach for the poor results of this season.
"This week has been tense for the entire 'Chelsea' club leadership," said the defender, who is currently recovering from an injury.
"Last season, together with Di Matteo, we won two titles. He is a great man, a legend of our team. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors," concluded the 31-year-old footballer.
