Jose Mourinho denied reports that his relationship with the management of Real Madrid has deteriorated.
These reports surfaced after the royal club unexpectedly lost by a narrow margin to Sevilla's Real Betis in the Spanish Primera championship on Saturday, while their fiercest rivals, Barcelona, gained an eleven-point lead.
"I don't understand why you are asking about my relationship with the club. It's the same as before," Mourinho stated at a press conference.
"The same relationships exist with the team's players. Of course, the players' moods depend on the results. Naturally, when we win we are very happy, and when we lose we are disappointed."
Recently, the royal club has not been showing its usual sporting form. With just two wins in the last five matches. However, the Portuguese coach believes that the results of the Real Madrid team can be evaluated at the end of the season.
"I am just a simple club employee, like everyone else. I will do everything to win all possible trophies this season," added the 49-year-old strategist.
