FIFA and the French newspaper "France Football" announced three contenders to win the "Ballon d'Or" award.
There were no surprises - representing Spanish clubs, Lionel Messi ("Barcelona"), Andres Iniesta ("Barcelona"), and Cristiano Ronaldo ("Real Madrid") are candidates to become the best footballer of the year.
There are also three clear contenders for the best coach of the year award: Vicente Del Bosque (Spanish national team), Jose Mourinho ("Real Madrid"), and Pep Guardiola.
Neymar ("Santos"), Radamel Falcao ("Atletico Madrid"), and Miroslav Stoch ("Fenerbahce") are contenders for the best goal of the year award.
