London's Arsenal leaders have devised a way to protect themselves from potential losses.
Currently, the team from the capital of England occupies only 7th place in the Premier League and may not qualify for the next season's UEFA Champions League matches - a situation that would significantly deplete the already shaky finances of the Gunners.
Therefore, Arsenal has decided to offer new contracts to players whom they see as future leaders, in which lower salaries and significantly reduced bonuses would be included if the team remains in fifth place or lower.
The press has managed to find out that soon new contracts will be considered by Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs, and Carl Jenkinson.
