The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has lifted the suspensions for the trio of stars from Madrid: Walter Samuel, Zinedine Zidane, and Michel Salgado.
W. Samuel and Z. Zidane were both sent off during the weekend match against "Villarreal": Argentinean W. Samuel was sent off for a second yellow card, while Z. Zidane was sent off for an altercation with opponents already during added time by the referee.
The hero of the match against "Villarreal," the author of the winning goal Michel Salgado, received his fifth yellow card and will automatically have to miss the next match. This means that the "Real" stars will not be able to help the club during the Sunday trip to San Sebastian, where "Real" will face "Real Sociedad."
However, the RFEF has rescinded one yellow card for another "Real" star, Englishman David Beckham, so at least for now, he won't be facing disqualification.
