The defender of Juventus Stephan Lichtsteiner would like to face Glasgow Celtic in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

In the last match of group E, the Italians beat Shakhtar Donetsk with a score of 0:1 and became the winners of group E.

The Swiss contributed to the victory of the Turin team with a precise pass, after which the opponent's defender Aleksandr Kucher scored an own goal.

The Ukrainian was successfully prevented from kicking the ball by Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, who celebrated scoring a goal. However, S. Lichtsteiner did not hesitate to mock the little man nicknamed the "atomic ant."

"I celebrated Giovinco's goal by pointing to his growing 'Pinocchio nose' from lying, because he thought he scored a goal, although I clearly saw that the ball entered the goal from Kucher's foot," the defender said after the match.

"I must give compliments to the whole team, which worked like a Swiss watch. Winning in Donetsk is a difficult task for any team, so for us it is a real achievement. After the ugly match against AC Milan, we felt the rhythm of the game again and we must not stop now."

Juventus could face Real Madrid, Arsenal, Porto, Galatasaray, Valencia, or Celtic in the Champions League round of 16. When asked which team he would like to face, S. Lichtsteiner replied: "I would like to play against Celtic."
