Lionel Messi's father claims that his son will end his career at Barcelona and emphasizes that he cannot imagine him playing for another team.
The captain of the Argentine national team has a valid contract with the Catalan club until the summer of 2016. The Spanish vice champions have already started negotiations with L. Messi and hope to sign a new agreement until the end of the footballer's career.
"I cannot imagine my son playing for another club, he is destined to represent Barcelona," Jorge Messi insisted.
"Lionel feels great in Barcelona, he has never mentioned the possibility of leaving this team."
The 25-year-old footballer broke Gerd Muller's record, scoring 85 goals in a year, and J. Messi admitted that he did not believe that his son would break this record.
"Lionel surprised me. I did not believe that anyone could break this Muller record, but he did it," added the father of the best football player on the planet.
