After three months due to an injury, London's Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto is returning to the lineup.
The Cameroon national team member appeared only three times this season in the ranks of the team led by Andre Villas-Boas. The last time the footballer was on the field was on September 1st against Norwich.
The 28-year-old player expressed joy in his return and announced on social media: "Today I will train with the team again, hoping my fitness will not be bad !!"
Assou-Ekotto was one of the key players of the Tottenham team last season. During the season, the defender played 40 matches and scored 3 times.
