On Wednesday, two quarter-final matches were played in the Italian cup (Coppa Italia).

In the first clash, "Parma" met "Catania". After a penalty shootout, the team from Catania City emerged victorious.

Two goals were scored during the main match time. The guests from Parma took the lead first when Dorlan Pabon scored in the 12th minute after a pass from Jonathan Biabiany.

However, "Catania" soon leveled the score. A penalty kick was awarded in the 19th minute, which was successfully converted by Francesco Lodi.

In the other match, Turin's "Juventus" club defeated "Cagliari" team in front of their home crowd by a narrow margin. Sebastian Giovinco scored the only goal of the match in the 57th minute.
