On Saturday, two games of the Italian "Serie A" championship of the seventeenth round were played.
In the central match of the round, Rome's "Lazio" footballers defeated Milan's "Inter" footballers in front of their own fans. The victory for the team was secured by Miroslav Klose's goal scored at the end of the match.
In the other game, the "Udinese" club managed to avoid defeat against the "Palermo" team at the end of the match. Josip Ilicic put Udinese in front in the 33rd minute, but A. Di Natale equalized in the last minute of regular time.
