Doneck's "Shakhtar" defender Alex Teixeira admitted that he dreams of one day wearing the jersey of Turin's "Juventus."
In 2010, the 22-year-old Brazilian, who had joined the ranks of the Ukrainian champions, became one of the key players and has been performing well in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Speaking to journalists from the Italian newspaper "Lancenet," the player did not hide his desire to move to "Juventus."
"I have signed a four-year contract with 'Shakhtar," which I respect. However, I have a dream to move to 'Juventus' or to the Spanish league one day," said the Brazilian attacking midfielder.
"In the coming years, I will do everything to make this dream a reality. I think my best performance this season in the Champions League was the match in Turin against 'Juventus.' Although they beat us in Donetsk, we will step into the next stage with a lot of confidence in our abilities," said A. Teixeira.
This season, the Brazilian played a total of 22 matches and scored 10 goals. In the Champions League, A. Teixeira scored two goals and made one assist in six matches.
