Stankevičius' career again heads towards Spain © EuroFootball.com

Marius Stankevičius' career is heading back to Spain - according to reports, the Lithuanian should move to the "Celta" club in Vigo this winter for 500 thousand euros.

The 31-year-old defender has been wearing the shirts of Italy's AS Roma's "Lazio" team for the past few years, but at the beginning of this season he was recovering from an injury, and after recovering, he was unable to secure a spot in the starting lineup. He has not played in any Serie A matches so far.

Stankevičius would not be a newcomer in Spain: in 2009-2010, he represented the "Sevilla" team, and in the following season - the "Valencia" team. In total, he played 37 matches in the national championship of this country and scored two goals.

He is also being eyed by the Italian team "Pescara". "Celta" currently occupies the 15th place in the Spanish championship after 16 rounds, barely ahead of the clubs struggling in the relegation zone by just two points.
