Munich's "Bayern" captain Philipp Lahm is convinced that the team will be able to beat London's "Arsenal" club in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
The Bavarian team has reached the final of this top European league twice in the last three years, but both times had to settle for second place.
"We definitely have a great opportunity to reach the quarterfinals. We will only aim for victory against the "Arsenal" players and a ticket to the next stage, if we manage to achieve our goals, we will certainly go further," said the German.
"I have never played against the "Arsenal" team. It will be a big challenge for me and our club, let's hope for two exciting matches," he added.
"I am also looking forward to meeting Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker. It is always special to play against our colleagues from the national team," added the 29-year-old defender.
