In Valencia, the local "Valencia" met Madrid's "Getafe". The hosts, in front of their own fans, defeated the opponents with a score of 4-2.
The "Bats" managed to score two goals in the first seven minutes of the match. Robert Soldado scored in the 1st minute, and Jonas in the 7th minute.
Shortly after, the visitors from Madrid managed to reduce the score, but towards the end of the half, Valencia was able to maintain a two-goal advantage after Ricardo Costa's goal.
In the second half, "Getafe" players were able to once again reduce the score to just one goal in the 59th minute, but at the very end of the match, securing Valencia's victory with a goal was Nelson Valdezas.
In other matches, Madrid's "Atletico" met Vigo's "Celta" players. Diego Simeone's team secured a minimal victory with a score of 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by Adrian in the 77th minute.
