On Friday, the XVIII round of the Italian "Serie A" championship started with two matches.
Turin's Juventus club only broke the hosts Cagliari at the end of the match. They were the first to break through, after Mauricio Pinillos converted an 11-meter penalty kick.
The hosts' chances of earning points were complicated in the 65th minute, when defender Davide Astori was sent off the field. Soon after, Juventus started their victorious surge: in the 75th minute, Alessandro Matri equalized the score, and in the 90th minute, the same forward took the "Bianconeri" team ahead.
Shortly after, Mirko Vucinic scored the third goal into the hosts' net, earning a point in the match.
After this victory, Juventus have already accumulated a 10-point advantage over their closest pursuers Inter, but the latter have not yet played their match of this round.
