On Saturday, six matches of the 19th round of the "Ligue 1" championship were played in France.

Last year's champions, players from "Lille," did not leave any hope for the defending title of the "Montpellier" club. D. Congre ("Montpellier") opened the opponents' score in the 24th minute by scoring an own goal.

At the end of the first half, Dimitris Payet doubled the difference, and in the second half, Nolanas Roux and Ryan Mendes added one goal each. The champions were saved from complete defeat by the goal scored by Souleymane Camara in the 83rd minute.

After this victory, "Les Dogues" moved up to the seventh place in the tournament table, while the defending champions "Montpellier" continue in eleventh place.

In another stadium, "Lyon" players crushed the "Nice" club. Lisandro Lopez opened the scoring for "Olympique" at the end of the first half.

At the beginning of the second half, after the first goal scorer's pass, defender Anthony Reveillere scored a goal. In the 74th minute, "Nice" goalkeeper David Ospina was sent off for a last hope foul and second yellow card, as well as a penalty kick, successfully converted by Bafetimbi Gomis.

"Lyon" equalized points with PSG players (after 38 points), but Parisians kept the first place due to a better goal difference. Three more round matches will be played on Sunday.
