According to the English press, Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea in London, will not offer a new contract to team captain John Terry.
The 32-year-old central defender's contract expires in the summer of 2014.
Abramovich has been looking to rejuvenate the team for some time and remove players who have too much influence in the squad. It is worth noting that Terry, Lampard, and Drogba led a sort of revolt when Andre Villas-Boas was in charge.
Didier Drogba has already left the team, and Frank Lampard's contract is also unlikely to be extended.
