London's "Tottenham" attacking midfielder Gareth Bale praised Madrid's "Real" star Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting that the Portuguese player is his idol.
The Welsh national team member has been recently closely linked with the royal club, as C.Ronaldo may leave the team after this season.
"Now everything is different. Every day in training you have to learn something new, because otherwise, you can lose the coach's trust and may get on the field less often," the young footballer explained his thoughts to "ESPN."
"All of this is similar to Cristiano Ronaldo - he never misses an opportunity to come up with new technical tricks with the ball. I look up to him, he is my idol," the Welshman concluded.
It is worth mentioning that the 23-year-old player had the opportunity to play in the same team as C.Ronaldo in 2007, as at that time "Manchester United" manager Sir Alex Ferguson was interested in acquiring G.Bale.
