London's "Arsenal" club strategist Arsene Wenger has stated that he will not try to bring back the team's legend Thierry Henry for the third time.
Currently playing for New York Red Bulls, T. Henry is training with the "Arsenal" team during the off-season, but the team's coach has rejected the possibility of the Frenchman once again donning the team's jersey.
"Yesterday, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud performed well in the match, proving that we already have two excellent strikers in the team. I won't take the risk of hiring T. Henry again, as he has had a long season and has just returned from vacation, so he would need 3-4 weeks to get back in shape," the strategist stated on Canal +.
Thierry Henry defended the honor of the "Gunners" from 1999 to 2007. The former French national team striker is the club's all-time top scorer with 228 goals.
