Milan "Inter" veteran Javier Zanetti states that he wants to stay in the club for at least one more season.

The 39-year-old defender will turn 40 in August, but regardless, the Argentine is determined to help the "Nerazzurri" team for another season.

"I intend to play for Milano's team for another season. The club is moving in the right direction, so I can't retire so quickly," the player told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

J. Zanetti also commented on the possible acquisitions for "Inter" during this winter transfer window: "I think our team currently needs a defender. The acquisition of Ezequiel Schelotto would be a positive step."

The football player, who can play in both defense and midfield, arrived in Milan in 1995. During this time, he played 823 matches and scored 21 goals.
