Wayne Rooney will not be able to play for another two weeks, says "Man Utd" team coach Sir Alex Ferguson.

The English national team striker suffered a minor knee injury on Christmas Day, but the rehabilitation will take much longer than expected.

"Wayne is still injured. The situation is not serious, but the treatment will take longer than we thought - probably another couple of weeks. Therefore, he will not play in the match against "Liverpool" on January 13," Ferguson said.

And he added: "It's a loss. You always want to have all the best players available."

However, "Man Utd" fans received some more positive news: after a two-month break, winger Nani, who has recovered from an ankle injury, has started training again.
