On Saturday, four matches of the XVIII round of the Spanish "Primera" championship were played.
In the first match, the local Valencia "Levante" hosted Bilbao "Athletic". The hosts secured a solid victory with a score of 3-1. The scorers for the victorious "Levante" team were C. Lellas, Iborra and N. El Zharas. The only goal for the Bilbao team was scored by A. Aduriz.
At the "Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes" stadium, the hosts "Granada" welcomed the Valencia footballers. The visitors secured a narrow victory with a score of 1-2. Jonas and P. Piatti led the "Bats" to victory.
In the other matches, La Coruna's "Deportivo" defeated "Malaga" by a narrow margin. The only goal of this match was scored by Pizzi.
In the final Saturday match, in front of their own fans, "Sevilla" defeated Pamplona's "Osasuna". The team from Seville was led to victory by E. Spahic.
