The young Italian national team striker says he does not think about playing for another club, unless he drops down to a lower league. 22-year-old Gilardino is one of the leaders of Parma club this season, just like in the previous one.
"We must make sure we stay in Serie A, it is important for every player in this team," - said Gilardino - "At the end of the season, when summer comes, I will evaluate the offers I receive. Of course, the more choices I have, the better it will be for me and the club."
The talented Gilardino is already attracting interest from football giants such as Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan, or Real Madrid, but the player is currently trying not to think about it.
"The fact that I am being sought after by such famous clubs only proves that I have maintained good athletic form," - continued Parma's striker. - "Will I leave to play for another club? It will depend on the circumstances, but right now it is important to stay in good athletic form and continue scoring goals in Italy and in the World Cup qualifying matches."
Gilardino confirmed his amazing talent and that he is currently in great athletic form when in Sunday's match against Livorno, which Parma won 6-4, he scored four goals.
"Last season in Serie A I scored 23 goals and this season I want to repeat that goal tally. I have scored 21 now, but there are still 4 games left, so everything is still ahead." - said Gilardino.
Meanwhile, Parma's general director Luca Baraldi confirmed that Gilardino's sale is inevitable and should happen at the end of the season.
"It would be difficult for us to keep this player," - said Baraldi - "We will see what offer satisfies both him and the club."
