Lithuanian national team defender Marius Stankevičius is soon expected to leave Rome's "Lazio" team and move to Vigo's "Celta".
It is reported that the "Primera" league team has decided to buy out the 31-year-old player's contract, although initially there was consideration of just borrowing the footballer.
According to the press, "Celta" is willing to pay 750,000 euros for the Lithuanian.
Marius Stankevičius would not be a newcomer in Spain: in 2009-2010 he represented "Sevilla", and in the following season - "Valencia" clubs. In total, he played 37 matches in the national championship of this country and scored two goals.
