nternational Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) traditionally announced the best football clubs of the past year.

For the second year in a row, the leader of the ranking is the team of "Barcelona", which last year finished second in the Spanish league and won the King's Cup. The Catalan club has 307 points.

"Barcelona" is recognized as the best team of the calendar year for the fourth time. Previously, it finished the year in the first place in the IFFHS ranking in 1997, 2009, and 2011.

Last year, the second place was taken by the Champions League winner, London's "Chelsea" - 279 points. Sharing the third and fourth places, just one point less, are the Argentine football superpower "Boca Juniors" from Buenos Aires and the UEFA Super Cup winner, Madrid's "Atletico" club.

In the top ten, there are three Spanish clubs, two German teams, and one team each from Brazil, Argentina, England, Italy, and France.
