On Wednesday, the last matches of the VII round will be played in the "A League", where Vilnius "Zalgiris" and Šiauliai will meet. The matches will start at 17:00 at the Vilnius "Zalgiris" stadium.
Although before the season "Zalgiris" was aiming for the highest awards, and "Šiauliai" for the first five, now both teams are at the bottom of the standings next to each other - with two victories, Zalgiris with 6 points is eighth, while "Šiauliai" with one win and played draws is in ninth position with four points.
Last week both clubs suffered setbacks - "Zalgiris" was crushed in the match against "Kaunas", while "Šiauliai" had to admit the advantage of "Vėtra". Nevertheless, an interesting and telling fact is that almost all the leaders of "Zalgiris" will be rested before today's match, as they did not play against "Kaunas" on Saturday.
