On Wednesday evening in Spain, two King's Cup quarter-final matches were played.

At Camp Nou stadium, Barcelona and Malaga teams faced each other. In a high-scoring match, a draw of 2-2 was recorded. In the 25th minute, Manuel Pellegrini's students unexpectedly took the lead, but Lionel Messi quickly equalized the score.

However, in the 30th minute, the Catalans were led to victory by defender Carles Puyol, when he headed the ball into the opponent's goal after a corner kick by Thiago.

The Malaga team was reduced to 10 men in the 75th minute when Nacho Monreal received a questionable red card, but the team from Malaga did not give up and managed to snatch a draw at the very end of the match.

In the other match, a goalless draw was recorded. Real Zaragoza resisted the attack of Sevilla footballers.
