"Southampton" club today fired manager Nigel Adkins due to poor results, and the new head coach of the team became Mauricio Pochettino.
N.Adkins took over the team in September 2010 when he signed a three-year contract, and on Wednesday the team managed to play a draw at "Stamford Bridge". However, despite the decent result in London, the manager lost his job.
In November, Mauricio Pochettino, who left "Espanyol" club, took over the team, and he has already started preparing the team for the "Premier League" match against "Everton" on Monday.
Currently, "Southampton" club is in 15th place in the league table, but they are only 3 points ahead of "Aston Villa" which is in the relegation zone.
