Prague's "Sparta" Secures Czech Champion Title © EuroFootball.com

For the seventh time in ten years, Prague became the champions of the Czech Republic. This was revealed after the "FK Teplice" team in second place lost 2-0 to another Prague team "Slavia".

With only five rounds left until the end of the championship, "Sparta" has accumulated an unassailable eighteen-point lead.

Experiencing a change of head coach in the middle of the season, "Sparta" repeated the 2001 record - securing the title of champions after playing 25 championship rounds.

In the "Sparta" team, there are two players defending the honor of the Czech national team in the 2004 European Championship: goalkeeper Jaromir Blazek and defender Karel Poborsky.
