The "Juventus" team is nearing an agreement with the Spanish national team striker Fernando Llorente.
A few weeks ago, the footballer confirmed that he will leave the Bilbao Athletic team at the end of this season. Immediately after his contract expires in June, he will move to Juventus.
"There is no point in denying that we are talking to Llorente and we are far along in negotiations," said Juventus managing director Beppe Marotta. "I am very optimistic, but we must not rush and wait until July 1."
One of the leaders of the Italian champions also denied reports that midfielder Arturo Vidal could leave the team, with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid reportedly interested.
"We receive calls about our players, but we are more interested in buying than selling," Marotta said.
