The Istanbul "Galatasaray" club confirmed that they have reached an agreement with the Milan "Inter" club to acquire defender Wesley Sneijder.
For some time now, the coach of the Italian team Andrea Stramaccioni has not found a place for the Dutchman in his tactical schemes, so the defender decided to leave.
The negotiations regarding personal contract terms were stuck for a while, but both clubs had already agreed on the transfer fee earlier.
"The contract terms and the player's arrival time will be announced after the footballer undergoes a medical examination," - writes the Turkish champions' website.
Currently, "Galatasaray" is leading the country's championship with two points ahead of the second-placed "Besiktas" club.
