Bayern Munich strategist Jupp Heynckes does not hide his disappointment in the way the club leaders announced the signed agreement with Pep Guardiola.
The experienced specialist will end his career after this season, and he will be replaced by the famous Guardiola. This was confirmed last week.
"It would have been better if the announcement had been made during the winter break. Before Christmas, before the holidays," Heynckes said. "The normal working day is interrupted by media attention."
He continued: "I am still in charge here. Everyone knows that, it was the same everywhere I worked."
Former Barcelona strategist Guardiola will take over Bayern in July after a year-long break.
