"Milan" club has ended negotiations with Madrid's "Real" regarding the acquisition of the goalkeeper Kaka.
The Brazilian national team player confirmed last week that he was prepared to return to Italy and play for a lower salary, but an agreement could not be reached.
"The negotiations broke down - we did not agree on financial details," said "Milan" vice president Adriano Galliani. "We had agreed on everything else."
According to the media, the 30-year-old Kaka will not return to Milan because "Real" did not agree to lend him.
This season in the Spanish championship, the Brazilian played seven matches, but only started one and did not score any goals.
