On Wednesday, the semi-finals of the "Coppa Italia" tournament were played.
In a clash of giants in the country, Turin's Juventus club secured a victory against Lazio in front of their own fans.
The first goal of the match came in the 63rd minute, when Juventus' newcomer Federico Peluso scored with a header from a corner kick. Later, Arturo Vidal had two great opportunities to double the lead, but he did not capitalize on them.
After the goal, Lazio took control and equalized the score. Stefano Mauri scored from close range past the Juventus goalkeeper.
The second leg will be played on January 29th, and on Wednesday evening, in the other semi-final of the cup, Roma and Inter teams will face each other.
