On Wednesday late evening in the English Premier League, the postponed 19th round match between two London teams - Arsenal and West Ham - was played.

In the derby held at the Emirates Stadium, the guests scored first, but later conceded five accurate shots into their own goal and had to admit the superiority of the Gunners with a score of 5-1.

In Arsene Wenger's team, the returning striker Lukas Podolski stood out after recovering from illness, not only scoring a goal but also making three assists.

Twice, their opponents' goalkeeper was beaten by Olivier Giroud, and Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott also added their names to the match protocol with a goal each.

The match unfolded very unsuccessfully for the young West Ham defender Daniel Potts - after coming on as a substitute, the 18-year-old lost consciousness after a collision with Bacary Sagna.

The player was given nearly a quarter of an hour of medical attention, then he was taken off the field with a neck brace and transported to the hospital. Due to this incident, the referee added 12 minutes to the second half.

Arsenal moved to sixth place in the league table, while the Hammers dropped to twelfth.
