"Juventus" officially announced that today Shanghai "Shenhua" forward Nicolas Anelka, who arrived in Italy, will undergo a medical examination and will become a club player until the end of the season.
Former London "Chelsea" player was linked to Paris "Saint-Germain" and London "Queens Park Rangers" clubs in January.
The Italian champions recently also acquired forward Fernando Llorente, but the Spaniard will only arrive in Turin in July.
N. Anelka will be the sixth forward in the "Juventus" team, competing for a place in the starting lineup with Mirko Vucinic, Alessandro Matri, Sebastiano Giovinco, Fabio Quagliarella, and Nicklas Bendtner.
