"Schalke" club officially announced that they are loaning midfielder Michel Bastos from Lyon "Olympique" until the end of this season.
Negotiations for the Brazilian's transfer to the Bundesliga team have been ongoing for a long time. However, the final step was taken today.
"We are very happy that we were able to reach an agreement with Michel Bastos. He is a great footballer and has a lot of talent," said "Schalke" sports director.
This season, M.Bastos has shown a quite good sporting form in the French "Ligue 1" championship. The 29-year-old player scored 5 goals in 12 matches.
