After losing the Italian Cup - A. Conte's arrows of sarcasm to referees © EuroFootball.com

In the semi-finals of the Italian Cup, Turin's "Juventus" coach Antonio Conte did not spare sarcastic comments on the referees' work.

In the second leg of the tournament played on Tuesday, the team led by the Italian "zebras" lost 2:1 to Rome's "Lazio".

A. Conte, who received a two-match ban in Serie A for criticizing the referees, did not hold back his tongue once again.

In the first half, "Lazio" goalkeeper Federico Marchetti illegally brought down "Juventus" striker Mirko Vučiničiū, but the referee Marco Banti remained silent. The neutral assistant referee also remained neutral even when the visiting goalkeeper Mauricio Isla committed a foul against "Lazio" striker Miroslav Klose in his penalty area.

"Oh, there was no need for any eleven-meter penalties there. The referees are always right," sarcastically commented the "Juventus" coach after the match. "To be honest, Vučiničiū exaggerated the fall. Marchetti did not touch him at all."

"Giovinco was cautioned for simulation? Oh, he should have been sent off the field. You can't deceive the referee in such ways. Klose? Well, for such a blatant foul, a penalty should have been immediately given," said A. Conte.
