UEFA unveiled the ball that will be used in the Champions League final matches.

This year, the elite tournament match will once again be held at London's "Wembley" stadium just a year after a break. In the 2010-2011 season, the final match was also played there, when "Barcelona" beat "Manchester United" 3 - 1.

On this ball will be displayed details related to the city of London and English football.

UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein spoke about the new ball: "The ball is elegant, almost royal in its appearance. It reflects the values of the Champions League and the fact that this year's final will be played in London."

"We will use this ball throughout the knockout stages on the road to the Champions League final, where the kings of European football will be crowned," said G.L. Epstein.

The Champions League final will be played on the 25th of May.
