On Saturday and Sunday, the XIII round matches of "Ligue 1" championship were played in France.

The "Ajaccio" club, currently in 14th place in the standings, defeated the "Lyon" footballers, who are in second place, at home.

Despite the fact that the "Olympique" players took the lead after Alexandre Lacazette's goal, soon the goals by Chakhiro Belghazouani and Adriano Mutu turned everything upside down.

At the end of the match, the same Romanian player converted a penalty kick, and "Lyon" defender Dejan Lovren was sent off the field.

The same luck did not smile upon the other "Olympique" club. The "Marseille" players suffered a defeat at home against the "Nancy" team, who were in last place before this round.

In the 61st minute, the situation for the Marseille team was further complicated by Joey Barton receiving a second yellow card. Luck completely turned away from the hosts when Andre Ayew directed the ball into their own goal in the 73rd minute.

The fate was a bit more favorable for the title-defending "Montpellier" players, who defeated the "Reims" club 3-1 at home. The victory for the champions was ensured by goals from Souleymano Camara, Marco Estrada, and Younes Belhanda.

After this round, the undisputed championship leaders became the "Saint-Germain" players from Paris. Following them are the teams of Lyon and Marseille's "Olympique".
